Florida Vacation

Another semester finished, and it's finally summer break for us! We decided Skyler has been working so hard in school we needed a real vacation, so three days after school ended we packed our bags & headed to the sunshine state Miami, Florida. Since I have the greatest sister in the world living there we had tons of fun. We stayed with Britt & her family. To start the eventful week, I might have accidently told Britt the wrong airport that we were flying into, so I called to tell her we’ve arrived and she kept saying, “Where are you guys, this place looks empty.” I kept telling her we're just here by the baggage claim, I said, "I’m standing next to the post with a "J" on it." Then she realized………. . . Ft. Lauderdale airport goes by numbers, not letters. “Brooke your in the Ft. Lauderdale airport right?”, uuhhh nope I’m in Miami( OOPS). Good thing I have an amazing sister. She rushed right over to the Miami airport and picked us up. What a start of a great week. Britt took us to some great places, shopping, a little bit of fishing, south beach, the boardwalk, Disney World, the Orlando temple & Shark alley((& no we weren't crazy enough to poke the gators like Tayler did)). We enjoyed every second we got to spend with Britt and Mike. They were so nice to let us stay with them for the week. We can't thank them enough for the fun time we had with them. I hope we can go back before they move. We're back home now packing up the house & getting ready to move this week. Skyler is going to be doing an internship this summer, so we're off to Kansas for the next few months. We're going to miss Rexburg weather (haha)), but don't worry we will be back soon. love Skyler, Brooke & Preston
