2015 was too good to us! 

Most definitely our most eventful year to date...dare I say ever!?!!

Here's a recap of some of our most favorite memories of 2015!

APRIL

Found out Skyler passed his last and final portion of boards. We may or may not have had a celebratory cook out to burn lots and lots of study material ;)

Closed on our very first home (in Kansas), that we wouldn't move into for another 3 months.

MAY

Welcomed Landon into our family. Making me yet again very HAPPILY outnumbered.

Skyler "Rang the cowbell" AKA: Completed every requirement to become a Dentist.

AUGUST
We bought a new car! After being a 1car family for 2,600day-ish I feel freed. :)
Preston started Kindergarten. He's just like his Dad, loves to learn new things.
Skyler and I celebrated our 7 year anniversary.



We had such an incredible year and have so much to be thankful for. We our reminded of our blessings every day, as we watch our three healthy boys run wild, constantly putting smiles on our faces. We are grateful for our friendships with all of you and thankful to each and every person that was a part of this tremendous year.

On a side note. Wes spent lots of time with Uncle Lane and still by the end of the week kept calling him Tayler. Haha totally sad (He actually called every boy in the house Tayler...at least he knows Tayler's name right?). But he seriously loves Lane, even if he can't remember his name sometimes.

We spent our night playing lots of games. 

This year for our annual gift exchange, Lane had our family. 

Lane seems to get my name a lot...which I totally don't mind. Once he made me a seriously cool, LARGE homemade banana chair (which I'm still waiting to put in my house one day). And a couple years ago he made us the game Washers. He goes all out on his gifts. This year he made us Corn Holes....I think that's what it's called. Those boxes with holes in them that you throw bean bags into. Yeah, cool huh? He painted one Iowa Hawkeyes and the other Kansas Jayhawks. Perfect little family competition! Can't believe I didn't take a picture, they are way sweet. (They were too big for our packed car :( They are temporarily staying at my parent's house. 

Wow that was long, anyways....

New Years Eve we had a Corn Holes contest (Dad was the champion) and a Ping Pong contest. I'm sure my Dad would have been the champion at ping pong too, but we set up a bracket so only the losers ended up playing ping pong.  

 The rest of the evening was spent trying to stay awake :) While we watched Wes run circles around us...literally.

I don't even know where he gets his energy.

It was the perfect vacation to end the year. We can't wait to see what 2015 brings. 

A new baby, graduation, A real job and moving...(somewhere?) All in the first 6 months. 

Wow, it's going to be a good one. 

Spent the evening at Ben & Farrah's house (Skyler's sister). Making dumplings, playing minute to win it, and just trying to stay awake :)

This really has nothing to do with the "New Year's Eve" post, except that it was our first date of the new year. Skyler took me to a shooting range where we got to shoot bows! It was so fun and got me all excited to go shooting with him when the weather warms up... if I had a bow;)

Now that 2010 is here, here is a recap of the last few weeks of 2009. Christmas break was tons of fun, we spent it in Iowa at Skyler's parents. We had lots of fun with them making gingerbread houses, caroling, doing crafts, baking holiday goods, going to the dog races (which was really neat I loved it) and just spending time with each other. It snowed pretty much the whole time we were there, we definitely had a wonderful white christmas. After a week, we met up with my family and carpooled back to Idaho. We took a stop in Utah for a day to bless Brittany's baby, then we were back home in time to bring in the new year on the ski hill. Ok so for me more like in the ski lodge, but Skyler and the family had lots of fun actually on the hill. Now that the hectic but very fun holidays are over Skyler is back in school and I'm home doing crafts, cleaning, or whatever I can find that will keep my mind off the very anticipated arrival of our late new years package! We hope that 2009 was a great of a year for you as it was for us, and wish everyone the best for 2010. Love Brooke & Skyler
