Thanksgiving {2014}
Happy Thanksgiving from Iowa!
This year we spent our Thanksgiving weekend with Skyler's family. Everyone was there...which is easy to come by now a days, since we are the only one's currently not living in their town.
A day with lots of yummy food. Heaps and heaps of potatoes. Time with family.
What more can you ask for, really?
Oh, and pies. Lots and lots of pies.
While dinner prep was happening, the boys and I were downstairs trying to rig up an awesome geo-track. Took forever. Ended up, well...pretty awesome!
That evening Wesley just walked over to me and laid his head down on my leg and said, "The babies going to sleep." It was pretty darn cute. First off, he hardly ever just decides to lay down and sleep. And second, Why he decided to call himself the baby?? Beyond me. But he still is my baby for a little while longer, so I'll take it. :)
One of the days after, Grandma was making Turkey noodle soup. The boys got in on the noodle making action and loved it up.
And we'll end on a random note. My sweet little Wesley and the Christmas sweater nails I painted Thanksgiving day. No reason to wait for Christmas to whip those babies out. :)
