This little man is officially out of diapers (as of January...I'm a little behind). Woohooo!
We actually get a little break from buying diapers for a couple of months.
He's been running around in undies for months now. But it's for reals this time.
(This picture was actually at my Dr. appointment)
The last time Wes went in for a check up he had to get his finger poked for a lead check. The nurse was trying to be all discrete about it. She said she was going to put on her silly gloves and Preston blurts out, "your just putting those on so you don't get Wesley's blood all over you." :) Then she pulled out the vile and said something silly about it too. Preston again made sure Wes knew that it was the tube she was going to put all his blood into. What a nice brother, right? The nurse then poked Wesley's finger and Wes sat there and watched the tube fill up the whole time. When she got done Wes said, "Thank you!" He's a tough one.
(Preston got his flu shot about 5 mins later and cried and cried and cried. Funny how that all played out.)
His word lately(and for the past few months) is: OF COURSE.
It cracks me up. He's finishes almost every answer with of course.
Skyler recently got into building and flying RC planes. Wes is hooked. He loves to take the controller and fly the planes...for hours if we would let him. And he totally get's into it.
Wes likes to grab my face and squish his little noise against mine. It's pretty adorable. In this picture he actually grabbed my face and said, "I'm going to eat you like a sandwich" then proceeded to say num num num num.
Wes loves his Daddy so much. The second he hears the key in the door he runs to greet Skyler with a big hug. And usually proceeds with, "You have a good day Dad?"
We call Wes our little Bulldog, and have since he was a baby. He is always so tough about everything. When he means business he grumbles his little voice and makes sure you know he's serious. But we all know how soft and lovable he really is, so we just laugh it off and he'll start laughing right along with us.
He can't fool us. He's our little bulldog. But he's most definitely our little sunshine.
This little man brings so much joy and sunshine into our home. The moment he walks into the room you can't help but smile at him. We are so thankful for every single day we get to watch our little boys grow.
We just plain love um'
