{I Pray} That They Know This
Today I was listening to a talk {by Jeffrey R. Holland}
If you have a spare moment you should listen to it {HERE}...So good. Just thought I would share a few things from the talk that I love and want to remember.

{Live the gospel as conspicuously as you can}
Unfortunately, that is not me at all... I usually try to be as inconspicuous as I can. Then I'm reminded of all the blessing I have that have come from the gospel. It makes me want to spread the joy and not be so shy. But, that's me. As much as I try to break through my shell, I think I will always be stuck in my little corner...but don't worry, I'm very content here :)
That's kind of why I love blogging. It helps me feel like I'm interacting with the world, when really I'm just typing away to myself. haha
Anyway, back to the point.
I am a completely different person around my family. No shell. Just me. The crazy (hopefully fun) person that nobody else really knows exists. So this talk really reminded me that it is SO important to share my love of the gospel with everyone, but especially my children.
Skyler has been enjoying his bow a lot lately (And when I say a lot, I don't really me A LOT. More like a little... as much as school will allow). And you would never know, but I actually took these pictures at the archery range. Skyler was just a few feet away target practicing...his new favorite way to take "family"pictures :) So when Elder Holland starting relating this topic to a bow and arrow, it just made the talk that much better. No, but really, this is just a great quote.
I want nothing more for these sweet little boys to grow up and have the same love and desire for the gospel as Skyler and I have. And hopefully (even in the smallest way) they will notice that in us.
