Greetings from the sunflower state! Just a quick little update. The last few months we have been loving the KS weather. It’s pretty nice to actually have summer for more than 2 months of the yr. Skyler has been working hard and having lots of fun in the dental office, while I’m at home being entertained by Preston all day. Preston is getting so big and loves when people talk to him. Anytime you walk by him if he catches a glance of you, he will give you the biggest grin, and who can resist that…not me. Makes it a little hard to get things done. We can’t wait for the water to warm up a bit, so we can head out to the lake to cool off. We're enjoying every second of this weather before we head back to Rexburg for the winter.
About a month ago, we hatched some baby ducks, and now they’re almost as big as Preston. Here’s a few picture of him wondering what in the world he is sitting with.
It’s been getting very hot around here lately, around 95-100 degrees. After pulling weeds in the yard for a few hrs, we all decided we needed to cool off, so we made a slip & slide. Kept us occupied for a couple hours and definitely cooled us off. We will for sure be pulling it out a few more times this summer.
