Look who's H.O.M.E.

As of last Tuesday night, Lane is home from Africa! It was a long two years and we are so glad he is home...alive and safe. He has some CRAZY stories. Starting his first week up to the very last day he was in Africa, seriously...CRAZY stories!

It takes a pretty awesome person to survive that mission. 

The whole family got on Google + so we could "be at the airport" when Lane stepped off the plane. He flew into the Garden City airport, where you step off the plane right onto the tarmac/runway and your about 50ft. from the entrance (& Exit) of the entire airport....yes, it really is that small. So we were up close (as up close as you can be via the internet)  and personal to watch his much anticipated arrival.

Ryan & Tayler & Jake made him this sweet "Lane, Welcome Home Sign" that was 15ft long!

We were kind of hoping he would run through and tare it to shreds;) 

And here he is!

Probably a little shocked at all this technology up in his face. But nonetheless greeted us all with a huge grin and a cheery hello! 

He came in at 10:30pm while all the nieces and nephews were asleep. So he G+ the next morning to say hello to all the little ones. 

It was a true party( hats and accessories included) and went down a litte something like this...
