Buds {For Life}

In my family(The Steels) the order of kids is...

Boy, Girl, Boy, Girl, Boy, Boy, Boy

All of us are very close and love being around each other. But I think we would all agree that there are two kids that seem to be inseparable.

Ryan and Tayler.

They're the two youngest brothers that are closest in age. And when I say inseparable I mean it. They are the ultimate best friends and have been for 17years.

So when I See Preston and Wesley hang all over each other and laugh their little guts out playing, I get so happy. I hope they are just like Ryan and Tayler. Inseparable, best buds.

I look at these pictures I get so excited for our next little boy to join the party.

Two {Little} Buddies

I know I have said this only about a hundred times... but I'll say it again,

I am so in love with these two little boys.

I love that we have two little boys that will grow up together and be each others best friend.

The giggles never seem to stop when these two are together.

"You did WHAT?"

Preston picked up some dandelions and gave one to Wes and kept one for himself. Then he instructed, "Wes, you wish for a swing set and I'll wish for a yard." Guess they are just as sick of apartment living as much as we are.

I love watching these little brothers become best friends. And I love even more that I a get to be a part of it...everyday :) We do a lot of hanging out around here. Just passing time until the Daddy gets home....at least thats what it seems like when Preston asks 10 times a day if it's time for Dad to be home.

We take a lot of bike rides, trips to the park, playing games, making up new games... pretty much whatever we can come up with to keep us entertained.

And every once in a while (or way more than that it seems) our days just get turned upside down.

Days when all I want is an uninterrupted shower (Which never really happens).

Days when I feel like I just want to lock them up so I can have a little peace and quiet (FYI..they did this to themselves) ;)

And then Skyler comes home. That's when the real party begins.

He's like a movie star around here.

The boys don't ever get to see him, so when he is around they come flocking. And for the nights Skyler needs to study, they come up with every excuse in the book just to get into Dad's room. We love him and don't get enough time with him.

So until that day when he is free from those glorious chains we call school, we'll just keep coming up with things to keep us busy... but don't worry, we still have a little fun without him :)

Have I ever mentioned how the bathtub/room is one of my favorite places to take photos

(Minus the fact that there are no windows in my bathroom, which calls for some nasty lighting).

The boys are contained into one small place that they love.

Happy Easter

Happy Easter from the little brothers!

This year was Wesley's first Easter, and Preston's first Easter acknowledging the Easter Bunny.

We were up very early getting ready for church so there wasn't much time to sit around and ahh over our baskets (not like there was anything in them to ahh about). Only enough time to pull out the new bow ties and get excited about all the goodies that we would get to eat later.

Preston scored this year and got more than just the normal bow tie. He got some bathtub crayons!
And can I just say those things are the best $3 the Easter bunny ever spent. He loves them!
