The Honeymoon

Like I mentioned before, the honeymoon was a surprise until the luncheon prayer. That is when I was told we were going on a cruise to the Bahamas.
* * * * *
--> We were married on Friday, drove to Salt Lake City Utah on Sun where we caught our plane to Miami FL. We stayed the night in a condo in Miami that we later discovered was 10 min. away from Brittany’s house that she just moved into the week before (If we only would have known). Monday morning we got on the ship, Royal Caribbean Majesty Of The Seas, and headed for the Bahamas. Our boat was supposed to stop in Nassau (Bahamas), a private island, and the Florida keys.
--> Our first stop was the Bahamas. We got off the ship and headed for the beach.

After a while on the beach we rented a little scooter to get ourselves around the island.
Then drove this tiny little scooter over this ginormous bridge(Paradise Island Bridge) to get to Atlantis where we did a little sight seeing and walked through an aquarium. The rest of the day, we drove around the island stopping at little shops and enjoying the tropical paradise.
The next day, the ship was headed for the private island, but there was a hurricane near it, so they had to turn around and make a change of plans. Instead of one day at the private island we had two days in Key West.

--> Where of course we enjoyed a piece of the famous Key Lime Pie! We did a little tour around the city seeing all of the famous sites, our bus driver was a drag queen MS. VEE (what the keys are famous for) she was one GIANT woMAN…pretty weird if you ask me.

-->
Later that night on the ship, we were getting ready for one of our formal dinners and Skyler opened the closet to get his (new) suit and realized it’s was gone, he left it in Miami in the condo. (So we ordered in room service for dinner). After the ship ported in Miami, Skyler called the condo. After lots of talking, the lady decided to finally tell us she had the suit (she totally wanted to keep it). So we hurried back to the condo got the suit and zoomed on over to the airport just in time to make our flight. The honeymoon was incredible, the cruise was So fun, lots of food and tons of fun, and I spent it with my new husband, the man of my dreams!
