The Sick {Nasty} Bug

Booo to cold, sick, nasty winter bugs...!

We were getting ready for church last Sunday when Wes all of the sudden barfed. He then continued on his happy way like nothing, so we figured it was a spoof and carried on our way. Then in the middle of the sacrament he barfed all over Skyler (and a little on himself). As Skyler and I were looking totally stunned at each other, Wes had at it once again. Skyler rushed him out, cleaned him up and we left for home....after the next hour of church was over ;)
Our Sunbeams didn't seem to mind the smell, and Wes was still happy as can be, so we stayed so Skyler could teach his class.
Wes was fine the rest of the day but woke up barfing at 2am. So we cuddled up and sleep out the rest of the night on the couch.
...
Only to wake up to that queasy feeling...the one where you know your in for a whole lot of fun! I hurried and started some laundry and ate breakfast, hoping to get a few things done before I caught the bug... (but mainly just hoping to would pass the bug all together).
To bad that didn't happen. 2hrs laster Preston and myself where bound to the floor with out buckets by our side. It's one thing to have sick kids, but it's another thing to be cleaning up their sick messes when you can barely move yourself out of the bathroom.

We layer on the floor and watched movies all day. A couple movies in Preston said, "Can we just take a little break from the movies". Seriously, did a little kid just say that? He really was just too miserable to even watch movies.

Thankfully it was only the nasty 24hr bug. Two days later we were feeling as good as can be and feeling so so very blessed for our health!

You know you enjoy all my selfies;) Don't judge...
I want my kids to see millions of pictures of themselves with their mom :)
